Police appeal following theft of cables and scrap metal

“Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information following the theft of cable and metal worth around £700.

The theft took place at the Carmarthen Metal Recycling, near Cilefwr Industrial Estate sometime between 1pm on Saturday, November 14 and 8am on Monday, November 16.

Cables and scrap metal – mostly copper and brass – were taken.

Police are particularly keen to trace a white transit van, which was seen in the area between 9.35pm and 9/55pm on Sunday, November 15.

Anyone who was driving in the area and might have dash cam footage of the van, or with CCTV, is asked to get in touch.
