Further national restrictions will take effect from Monday 28 December 2020 to help prevent the spread of coronavirus whereby Wales will enter into tier four lockdown arrangements. Restrictions will remain in place for a period of at least three weeks whereupon a further review will then take place. During this time and during the intervening period between now and the 28 December wherein people are expected to work from home where possible, the Council offices will close to the general public from Monday 21 December. However all essential council work will continue, including some office based activities, grounds maintenance services and conducting funerals.
The Council’s reception service at Vauxhall Buildings will be monitored remotely and you are encouraged to contact the council by phoning 01554 774103 or by emailing us at enquiries@llanelli-rural.gov.uk.
Council meetings will continue in a limited capacity but committee meetings are still not taking place for the time being. The Chairman’s civic role has been put on hold so all engagements have been postponed or cancelled to limit non-essential social activity and interaction with the community.
