It was recently announced that 2020 will be the Queen’s first Christmas away from Sandringham Castle in over thirty years and that we’ll instead be hearing her annual Christmas day speech from Windsor Castle.

Whilst her Majesty enjoys a slightly quieter Christmas than usual, accompanied by Prince Phillip – online estate agent Emoov has given the Queen something to reminisce over, after recoloring some of the most famous royal Christmas cards released over the years.

This also follows the release of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s annual Christmas card, which pictures the young family sat together in front of chopped logs, and Prince Charles and Camila’s card – which was posted on Clarence House’s official Instagram account.

The images date back almost a decade to 1929, which was Queen Elizabeth’s very first Christmas card at age 3.

1945’s Christmas card has also been recolored – which features The Queen’s father King George, accompanied by her mother and sister, Margaret celebrating VE day on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
