The Welsh Government Restrictions Business Grants package of financial business support linked to the current lockdown restrictions will open for new applications on Wednesday 13 January at 10.00am.
Hospitality, Non Essential retail, Tourism, Leisure and Supply Chain businesses will be eligible for financial assistance.
To date £3.3m of direct payments have been made to 989 businesses in Ceredigion. These payments were made to businesses in the eligible sectors for the Restrictions Business Grant who had successfully applied previously for the Lockdown Non Domestic Rate Grant during the Firebreak period in October. These businesses do not need to re-apply.
All other eligible businesses in the Hospitality, Non Essential Retail, Tourism, and Leisure including the Supply Chain sectors in Ceredigion (linked to the Hospitality and Non Essential retail businesses) will need to apply and complete a short on-line application. This application process will open on Wednesday 13 January at 10.00am and further details on the scheme criteria, guidance and the online application form can be found on the Council’s website.
In addition Welsh Government have announced that the Economic Resilience Fund (ERF) Sector Specific fund will be opening on 13 January at midday. This fund is being administered directly by Welsh Government and applicants need to go through the Business Wales portal to apply. Further information on the scheme and other financial support are available on the Welsh Government website and Business Wales website.
