Rob James - Labour Leader

Cllr Rob James, Carmarthenshire Labour Leader and Welsh Labour candidate for Carmarthen East & Dinefwr stated “I have received a number of messages from local constituents who are angry with what they believe to be a breach of lockdown rules by the Plaid Leader.
“In Wales, the rules are clear – you should only be outside of your home for very limited reasons. Adam Price’s decision to record his latest party political broadcast on Betws mountain has angered many locals who have asked me why can Adam travel unnecessarily to that location, when they are not allowed to walk their dogs there.
“The perception is that this again is another example of one rule for politicians and another for the public. I have advised those who have contacted me to report the alleged breach to Dyfed Powys Police, which I believe they have done.
“Filming for a TV advert could and should be done at his own home, where he wouldn’t be undermining the stay at home message.”
