NEW Dinosaur footprint discovery found at the Bendrick Barry

Internationally important, dinosaur footprint found at the Bendrick, Barry,
by a 4 year old girl called Lilly.


A lovely little print, with claw impressions which matches beautifully with Grallator;
a type of crocodilian dinosaur.


The fossil print is 110mm in length, and represents, the finest impression of a 215 million old dinosaur print found in Britain in a decade.


The Museum of Cymru and Karl-James Langford Archaeology Cymru jointly, were made aware of the find by the finder’s mum (Sally), of it’s discover Lilly a 4 year old girl, with her dad Richard. 


Karl-James Langford MLitt: who has two decades of experience monitoring similarknown finds at the locality – and had found a Teleosaurus footprint at the Bendrick 8 yearsago, states, ” this is the most important Dinosaur print, I have everseen in the long time I have been examining the Dinosaur prints at the Bendrick”.


“Lilly a 4 year old local girl needs all the credit for this find, and one she willremember for the rest of her days”.
