In response to the announcement on provisional grades for GCSE and A-Level pupils in June, Plaid Cymru Shadow Minister for Education, Sian Gwenllian MS said,
“The Welsh Government were slow to learn lessons from last summer’s exams fiasco, and the emphasis must now be firmly focused on the well-being of all our pupils.
“Our young people need to be confident that their needs are central to the new process and that there will be a robust appeals system – they shouldn’t face the same stress and be denied opportunities like last year’s GCSE and A-Level cohorts.”
