The new Copr bridge will improve the access from the Swansea Marina to City Centre. A few months to go until pedestrians and cyclists are able to make the crossing. The Copr bridge will link to the brand new Arena being constructed costing a cool total of 135 million pounds.

Cllr Rob Stewart said “ This is going to be quite a moment in the history of our City Centre and our Communities “

Judging by the number of photos appearing on social media the spanking new Copr Bridge looks to be a massive hit amongst local people and will link the new “Cupid Way” from the Marina side coming out near St Mary’s church.

Cyril George Cupid was a Welsh athlete born in 1908 and he was the first Welsh athlete to run under 10 seconds for the 100 yards dash. Competed from 1930 – 1934 and Cupid Way will be named after him.
