Incident on Penallt Road bridge, Llanelli

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police received calls in respect of concerns for the welfare of a distressed man in the Llanelli area this afternoon.

Officers attended the area and found the man on Penallt Road bridge. Due to his distressed state, officers are working with him to ensure his safety and welfare, and are asking the public to avoid the area.

The roads in the area are closed, including the main link road A484 with A4138, and the roundabout at Frondeg Terrace. The Coedcae Road footbridge is also closed to all pedestrians.”
