February 2021 – Today, 19 Crimes, the first winery that used augmented reality to bring their labels to life, has announced the launch of The Deported, the UK’s first coffee infused red wine.

Inspired by the nineteen crimes that turned convicts into the colonists who built Australia, 19 Crimes are known for doing things differently when it comes to wine and The Deported is no exception. A bold and defiant take on a category often embedded in genteel connoisseurship, the new offering drives disruption by melding two widely adored, yet not often combined specialties.

Tapping into the growing popularity of fusion products amongst millennial consumers, The Deported is a well-crafted balance of wine infused with a shot of freshly roasted Colombian cold brew coffee, a new wine expression which is both unique and uncompromising.

In line with the ethos of the brand, the latest offering introduces the newest member of the 19 Crimes gang, Thomas Delany, who was one of the 62 political prisoners onboard the Hougoumont that took place in the Fenian Rising. Echoing his life, The Deported is bold and defiant, offering an escape from the ordinary with a taste that consumers will never forget.

19 Crimes was recently announced as #1 in the Wine List’s ‘The UK’s Favourite Wines’.

The Deported will be available exclusively in Morrison’s from March and other major UK grocers and convenience stores from April,  RRP £10. For more information, visit www.19crimes.com or 19 Crimes’ Facebook page.
