Trying to cycle from Lavernock Rd to Dinas Powys for a 1-1 Zoom lecture today,
proved difficult through the hoards that were visiting Cosmeston Country
Park.
Seconds before the photographs enclosed an electric scooter pulling
along a teen on skates scooted past me. This forcing an elderly lady to jump,
into a bush to avoid an oncoming cluster of cyclists causing me to swerve also.
Whilst I’m all for getting out & about, there seems to be no control over
the March Madness, and we’re still not allowed out on organised walks
such as those run by Archaeology Cymru. On such walks before the current
lockdown everyone wears a faceĀ mask and social distances.
Scared,
Rosamund Ellis-Evans
