The road to Pendine beach, promenade and the Parry Thomas Commercial Centre via the main car park has re-opened.
The route had been closed following a phase of works associated with a £7million development scheme by Carmarthenshire County Council.
During the works, cars and pedestrians have accessed the beach via the Parkdean lane – this lane is now closed to traffic, including access to the community council beach car park.
In line with Covid-19 regulations and social distancing, pedestrians will be expected to follow a one-way system which will be clearly signposted with separate entry and exit points.
