“It’s crazy when I say it out loud that it has been 4 years of my life. Psychologically it has been the most damaging thing ever, it has changed every aspect of my life. At more than one point I thought about harming myself because that was the only way that I thought that it could stop. Thankfully, I had the best support network, the best police officers and friends and family. It will not go away if you don’t do something about it, it’s not your fault someone has decided to do this.”
These are the words of a cyber-stalking victim who has bravely shared her story. Her offender is serving a 30 month prison sentence for a breach of restraining order.
