Dyfed Powys Police: Man Charged with Possession

A man has been charged with possessing cocaine and heroin with intent to supply in Llanelli.

Dyfed-Powys Police carried out a warrant at a home in Zion Row at just after 6pm on Thursday, April 29.

Mohamed Abdinasir Mohamed was inside the property, where officers found 52 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin, along with a large quantity of cash.

A large ‘rambo’ style knife was also seized from the property.

The 20-year-old from London was arrested and taken into police custody for interview. Today (Friday, April 30), officers charged him with possessing class A drugs with intent to supply today.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

Detective Inspector Rhys Jones said: “We are pleased to highlight another warrant which has resulted in a significant amount of class A drugs being taken out of the supply chain in Carmarthenshire.

“We will not tolerate the use of these devastating substances in our communities, and we will continue to take action where we have information that drugs are being brought into our area.”
