Brunch is back, more importantly…bottomless brunch is back. However, sometimes we don’t want a full English, eggs benedict or even maple syrup-drenched pancakes.

Resident drinks experts The Bottle Club recently discovered the best of the brunch, but we know that there is such a thing as too much smashed avo on toast, so they’ve also rounded up some of the best alternatives to the classic, bottomless brunch.

Grey

Grey Restaurant, Kingsway, Cardiff, CF10 3HH

Grey has been a well-loved brunch spot in Cardiff for a while now, located on Kingsway, between Cardiff University and the Castle Quarter – this contemporary restaurant specialises in country-style, Welsh and British dishes and a pretty good bottomless brunch, too.

For £30, you can enjoy bottomless Prosecco accompanied by a main dish, and a side. Whilst some brunch classics do make an appearance on Grey’s menu there’s also some tasty looking Welsh options, such as Welsh rarebit on ‘proper toast’ and dishes such as Shakshuka, a variety of burgers and sticky chilli chicken breast.
