Coronavirus restrictions eased across Great Britain

As was widely expected, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed that Step 4 of England’s roadmap out of lockdown restrictions will proceed as planned on 19 July 2021. The First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon has also confirmed that the country will move to a modified level 0 from 19 July 2021.

How will this impact organisations?

There will likely be mixed emotions from organisations. Whilst England has done away with most of the restrictions that have impacted organisations the most, Scotland has taken an arguably more cautious approach, especially when it comes to the hospitality industry and homeworking guidance.
