The event took place over two days in the amazing location of Scolton Manor and saw schools from Pembroke Dock, St Francis, Johnston, Tenby CIW VC, Fenton, Spittal and Prendergast Primary take part in some amazing fun activities within their bubbles.
It’s fantastic to see our children outside in the great outdoors having fun, with so many smiles. the event was supported by the Regional Engagement team from 160 Brigade the Army in Wales, The ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and SSCE Cymru.
The days consisted of a team of highly qualified Military veterans delivering inspiring fun sessions based around health, well-being and building resilience, giving the pupils taking part something to really smile about! Long before this pandemic, we all knew that physical activity boosted our health and ability to resist and overcome illness. That conclusion hasn’t changed. In fact, it’s more relevant now than ever! The challenges all contain elements of fitness, mental and team building challenges that promote communication skills whilst working together to overcome problems.
