Focusing on a Renewable Future

Here at Caplor Energy, we are proud to share with you the first in a series of videos showing some of the wonderful work that goes on around here.

Caplor • Corporate Video from Super Motion on Vimeo.

From our base at Caplor Farm in the beautiful Wye Valley where we are proud to have contributed to the local rural economy since 1923, we are acutely aware of the effects of climate change on our environment. Today, the team at Caplor Energy are passionate advocates of renewable energy, with a mission to inspire businesses, communities and homeowners to install renewable energy systems to deliver a zero-carbon future that will conserve and enhance the long term social and environmental future of our planet.

Why should you focus on a renewable future?

Renewable energies can help improve our environment, health and economy. As we are aiming to reach net-zero by 2050, there are many reasons why we should strive to use renewable energy within our homes, businesses and communities.

Renewable energy is providing affordable electricity across the country and will help stabilise energy prices in the future. For example, solar energy alone is an infinitely renewable energy resource. By using Solar PV alongside a storage system not only will it will have repaid itself within a decade, but will also continue to make savings after that. It will also help deliver a healthy environment, supporting biodiversity and land management.

Furthermore, one of the main priorities for politicians, as they navigate through the pandemic, is job creation, which renewable energy clearly has the potential to provide. This is through investment in new technologies and infrastructure such as wind turbines, solar farms, electric vehicle production and charging points, renewable heating and upgraded transport systems.

Take a look at our Caplor News, where you will find current updates on renewable energy and how we can help reach net-zero by 2050.
