The Health Control Form can also be carried paper-based (physically), but only by extraordinary circumstances. Each person travelling would require a separate form, including infants, children, and senior citizens.

The European Centre for Disease Control has also issued guidelines for tourists arriving from high-risk countries. These travellers must produce a negative Covid-19 test result carried out 72-hours (or less) before their arrival time. Apart from this, the Covid-19 negative test must be reproduced anytime during the time spent in Spain.

What Information Needs To Be Present On The Negative Covid-19 Test?

The negative Covid-19 test that travellers need to show on arrival needs to have the holder’s name (not different from the passport), passport number or Identity card number, test type, issuing body and credentials, and credentials the date of the test.

In Spain, the Covid-19 test is officially recognized in four languages – English, Spanish, French, or German. Travellers are also subjected to temperature checks and visual examinations by skilled doctors.

What Is Open In Spain For Tourists?

Spain’s state of emergency was lifted in May 2021. However, there are still specific Covid-19 measures that are in place to ensure health and safety. Social distancing, wearing masks, sanitizing as much as possible, and more are all encouraged.

With the reduced capacity, it may be difficult to get tickets or slots. It is best to book in advance, so you do not miss out on your favourite places. Visitors can also attend concerts and theatres that are operating with limited capacity seating.

Bars and restaurants throughout Spain have reopened with few limitations. The number of tables has decreased, and there are steps taken to ensure there is no overcrowding at the bar. They also have limits on the total number of people allowed per table.
