Lab meat grown from animal cells is becoming popular with each passing day, with dozens of companies making rapid strides to push the cultured meat revolution forward. Piplsay, a global consumer research platform, polled 9,166 Britons and 31,340 Americans to understand their opinions and excitement regarding this latest food trend.

  • 60% of Britons have heard about lab meat; 33% find its ‘no-animal kill’ benefit most appealing
  • 35% of Britons have heard about Eat Just lab meat firm the most followed by Supermeat (20%) and Memphis Meat (11%)
  • 69% of meat-eating Britons are worried about the environmental impact of meat production; 71% among them have reduced their meat consumption
