Australian legend Jason Donovan and Welsh singer-songwriter Christopher Haul were paired together in the second series of the ITV hit show ‘Rolling in it’.
Fronted by Stephen Mulhern – Rolling in it, sees three contestants play alongside some of their favourite celebrities in a bid to win a whopping £45,000.
Christopher Haul, from Bridgend, South Wales is a minor celebrity in his own right as a singer-songwriter, having performed his music all over Europe and internationally.
ITV producers have gone after big stars this year which kicked off episode one of series two with Martin Kemp, Strictly Come Dancing double winner Oti Mabuse and comedian Sarah Millican. And other episodes saw Martine McCutcheon alongside Jason Manford and AJ Odudu. Last Saturdays saw Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson, and Hollyoaks Richard Blackwood.
Donovan has had a career span longer than most celebrities who appeared on the show and is back perfroming as Pharoah in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat at the London Palladium.
The game show, which has already proven to be a hit with TV views, attracting a peak of 4.2 million people during its first run has some big twists and turns which views have spoken on social media who they want to see win big.
Since the show recording, Haul and Donovan have become good friends and follow each other on social media which all Christopher’s family and friends are impressed because Donovan is besties with pop legend Kylie Minogue and Gary Barlow.
There are talks of Christopher performing as the support act for Donovan on his upcoming UK Tour ‘Even More Good Reasons’ tour starting in October.
Christopher is releasing his new music which was produced by the same music producers as Ellie Goulding and Ed Sheeran. His next single ‘Nothing Compares’ will be released in September. Watch this space for this Welsh rising star.
