ILLEGAL RAVES | Do you know the signs?

If you live in a rural area, or you’re a farmer or landowner, please be our eyes and ears in the run up to the bank holiday to help prevent illegal raves affecting your community.
Some things to look out for are…

• Unusual numbers of vehicles, especially camper vans, vans, or trucks heading into an area.
• Trespassers on land, who may be scoping out new sites.
• People asking questions or approaching local landowners asking for land to hire.
• Small numbers of vehicles in an area, carrying sound or lighting equipment.

Illegal raves often start small, but increase in numbers quickly, with social media playing a big part in spreading the word. If you think you’ve spotted the signs, or you see something suspicious, please tell us.
