New research from tails.com has uncovered the top 10 most dog-friendly road trips across the UK and a Cardiff route has made a surprising appearance in the top ten.

According to the research, Cardiff to Tenby route landed in ninth place as the UK’s most dog-friendly road trip, with a score of 22.9 out of the possible 50.
The route has three main stopping points including Cardiff, Hay-On-Wye and Tenby. Along the road trip, there is a total of 268 dog-friendly Airbnbs, 31 vets, 16 dog-friendly restaurants and 39 walking trails – making it the ideal road trip for your four-legged friend.
The Edinburgh to Kirkwall road trip landed in the first place, with a score of 31.7 The route has four main stopping points including Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness and Kirkwall.
