Guesty’s Christmas travel bookings data have found that:

-Christmas rates in the United Kingdom continue to rise this year, with consumers booking at prices 102% higher than 2020 and 47% higher than pre-COVID 2019 rates.
-The average nightly rate is £261/night, compared to £129/night in 2020 and £177/night in 2019.

For New Years Eve, it’s clear that Brits will be celebrating at home, with Guesty finding that:

-89% of UK NYE reservations have been made by domestic travellers, compared to 75% in 2020 and 35% in 2019.

UK travellers should book now to avoid higher rates as we move further into Q4 2021, given soaring demand for long-term rentals set against limited supply.
