Hywel Dda University Health Board is asking those who have received a booster or first dose vaccine appointment letter to attend their nearest mass vaccination centre if the appointment provided is not at a convenient location.

This week, the first appointment letters to 12- to 15-year-olds and booster appointment letters were issued to people who received their second vaccine dose over 6 months ago.

Bethan Lewis, Interim Assistant Director of Public Health for Hywel Dda UHB, said: “Having been made aware appointments have been allocated for some at a centre further than their closest centre, we would like to reassure people with an appointment letter that they can attend their nearest centre at a time convenient for them.

“There is no need to contact the health board to rearrange and we apologise for any confusion or distress this may have caused.”

Please note this offer is strictly for only those who have received an appointment letter from the health board. Please bring this letter with you when you attend for your booster or first vaccine if you are aged 12 to 15 years.
