Over lockdown nine in ten people admitted to having a drink while working from home and now you can have the best of both worlds with Liverpool’s range of options for boozy-coworking spaces.

As part of their Boozy Co-Working Bars campaign, the broadband team at Uswitch have rounded up the top 5 best locations across the UK to work away from the office.

The study scored each place on 10 different metrics including, Wi-Fi availability, food, alcohol, Google reviews and more to give each venue a final score out of 100, with Liverpool’s Bean, Chapter of Us and Ryde, all scoring in the top five.

So without further adieu, here are the Top 5 best venues in the UK to explore when looking for working locations:

  1. Bean Coffee & Cocktails – Liverpool

As an independently owned coffee shop, Bean is located right in the heart of Liverpool One and perfect for those that are looking for a venue to work away from the office.

The shop serves everything from iced coffees, to tasty treats that make it great to spend the day in. But that’s not all, if you fancy a tipple while finishing your working day Bean offers plenty of gins and cocktails that will help give you that Friday feeling.

Coming second on the list was Cardiff’s famous Metchy’s Cafe & Bar. Started in the early 20th century by Mehmet Unvar, the cafe offers a cosy environment that makes it the ideal place to sit and concentrate on work.
