Get fresh air: Lockdowns have taught us to appreciate walking outside in the fresh air. Fresh air is one of the best things for health. It costs nothing and is a great stress reliever. Remember to wrap up warm and put one foot in front of the other and enjoy.

Eat fresh fruit and vegetables: By reducing unnecessary sugars from your diet you give your body a better chance of fighting infections such as Covid, colds, and flu. Eating five portions of fruit and vegetables a day is recommended. A Hearty soup with Autumn vegetables is a great way to keep the body satisfied.

Be prepared: Changes in temperature can happen quickly without notice. One minute it can be dry and then heavy rain, mild then turning cold quickly. If you are out and about make sure you have a warm coat and hat to keep you dry.

Get enough sleep: On average most adults require 8 hours of sleep while others can function with far less. We live busy lives and are consistently stimulated by our phones, social media, and television. It is important to learn to slow down and have a restful sleep.
