Searches explode for new Call of Duty game as fans Google Vanguard en masse

Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for “vanguard” exploded 178% on 4th November, a day before the release of the new Call of Duty game.

Analysis by technology experts Trusted Reviews reveals that online interest for the latest Call of Duty game skyrocketed to three times the average volume in one day as fans searched for the hotly anticipated new title.

Alastair Stevenson, Editor of Trusted Reviews commented on the findings:

“Call of Duty Vanguard is the latest entry into one of gaming’s most iconic first person shoot series. The game is a return to the series’ roots, featuring a plot set in the Second World War and wealth of cool new mechanics that should breathe fresh life into the gameplay.

“This looks set to be one of the biggest shooters to arrive this year for everyone from casual gamers to hardcore eSports professionals.”

Google searches for the developer of the game “Sledgehammer Games” also increased 600% on the same day.
