iPRO are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Wales Rugby League, which will see the hydration brand become the Official Hydration Partner to the Men’s, Women’s, Wheelchair, Dragonhearts, Physical Disability, Learning Disability, X-League Men, X-League Mixed, Students, Masters, Under 19s and Under 16s sides, as well as the match officials.

In a significant year for the sport, which will see 2022 culminate with the Rugby League World Cup for Men, Women, Wheelchair and others, the partnership will see iPRO widen their support into Rugby League after recently announcing a partnership with Scotland Rugby League and long term partnerships with St Helens RLFC and London Broncos.

Wales Rugby League CEO, Gareth Kear, commented on the partnership announcement: “Improving the standard of support for our elite and international women and men players was a key part of our Wales Rugby League strategy. When I researched the market for a hydration partner whose product was Informed Sport recognised, I spoke to our professional strength and conditioning coaches and they all came back with the same answer, which was iPRO Hydrate. We look forward to a long partnership with iPRO to ensure that our teams and players are the best prepared they can be to perform at the highest level.”

iPRO Hydrate – Sport Edition is Informed Sport certified and trusted by sports professionals globally. For players to perform at their best, both physically and mentally, optimal hydration is essential. iPRO Hydrate – Sport Edition is scientifically formulated with vitamins and electrolytes required for Wales Rugby League players to perform at their highest level. Two particularly powerful vitamins found in a bottle of iPRO Hydrate – Sport Edition is vitamin C and B vitamins. These vitamins provide a powerhouse of replenishment for players’ physical health. Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that helps protect the body from exercise-induced stress. It also supports the formation of collagen, which is a protein in the body and a major building block for muscles, tendons, and ligaments. B vitamins are particularly important for their role in various metabolic processes. Ultimately, they convert food into energy that Wales Rugby League players need to support the demand on their bodies during training and match days.

iPRO Global Partnerships Manager, Lucy Darrall, added to the announcement: “We’re enormously proud to have entered into this partnership with Wales Rugby League to provide all teams with iPRO Hydrate – Sport Edition. Hydration is key to fuelling the intensity of rugby training and match days. Our premium hydration drinks will provide players with the vitamins, electrolytes, and minerals they need to perform at their absolute best.”
