Dear Editor,

Our fundraisers and supporters at the NSPCC are getting ready for the festive season, with many looking forward to our Big Wreath Make. Our Christmassy fundraiser is something your readers can get involved with too ā€“ a chance for friends, family and colleagues to come together. Itā€™s perfect for those who love arts and crafts and, of course, Christmas too.

Our special guides have got everything needed to help our fundraisers make a beautiful and creative range of wreaths. We have one to suit every style and ability – from traditional and foraged to a wreath made from pompoms.

Itā€™s easy to set up an event. Readers can sign up for a ā€œhow toā€ guide and then all they need to do is set a date with friends and family, make a donation, and get crafting!

The money raised from our Big Wreath Make crafters will help the NSPCC be here for children when they need us the most through services such as Childline. Growing up isnā€™t easy ā€“ especially after the past couple of years. Stress can take its toll, no matter how adaptable children are. Itā€™s why our volunteers at our Childline bases in Prestatyn and Cardiff listen to and support children, showing children that they matter and they donā€™t have to cope alone.

Let’s bring on the mince pies, blast out those Christmas tunes and get creative. Your readers can sign up to the Big Wreath Make for Ā£5 on the NSPCC website.
