It’s here! Top Trumps: Travel Edition, the best holiday destinations for temperature, beaches and more!
Following the recent changes in travel, we’re all ready to jet to our next holiday destination, so, why not get involved in a brand new travel inspo game?
There are so many different travel destinations to choose from, so to make things easier, loveholidays have done the hard part.
They compiled a list of the world’s best long haul holiday destinations, and made them go head to head, creating a top trumps game to help you whittle them down. So, when it’s time to start planning your next holiday, you can be sure you’re choosing the best holiday for you.
The online travel agent analysed the most important aspects that make a holiday one to remember. Counting the number of beaches, restaurants, shopping centres and the range of activities on offer, as well as the average temperature and rainfall each year.
So whether you’re looking for an action packed break or a relaxing island getaway, play the top trumps game and find out the best holiday destinations the world has to offer.
If you want to be spoilt for choice, Dubai should be at the top of your list! It tops the charts with over 11,000 restaurants, 65 shopping centres and plenty of activities. So you can spend your mornings quad biking in the desert, getting your retail therapy fix in the afternoons and your evenings dining at world class eateries. Not to mention the hot weather and beautiful beaches!
High ranking destinations are the best travel treat, and Dubai also takes the crown in this top trump game. Don’t worry about packing an umbrella either as this desert city sees the least amount of rain in comparison to the rest of the holiday destinations. It only receives 22 days of rain a year, quite the contrast to the bleak British weather!
2021 is a great opportunity to escape the British weather, and Aruba has you covered. The Caribbean island can reach temperatures up to 29 degrees, making it a top contender for sun-seeking Brits. It might not have as many restaurants and shopping malls as the cities, but who can say no to snorkeling through crystal clear waters, and the vibrant carnival season?
If these destinations aren’t really what you’re looking for, but you do want to see sunny skies and hot temperatures, there’s plenty of other places to go and explore. St Lucia, the Maldives and St Barts all reached top temperatures, putting them at the top of the table.
loveholidays spokesperson said: “With so many destinations topping the table for those crucial ‘must have’ elements of a holiday, this game is sure to inject some much-needed travel fun into our lives!
“This game is a great opportunity to get thinking about our next trip for as soon as we can get out of the same old routine and make up for 2020!”
