Kate Middleton and Princess Diana’s style is officially more influential than Meghan Markle’s

Duchess of Cambridge officially has the most influential style of all Royal Women 

• Kate Middleton’s style is the most Googled of any Royal woman with a total of 9,010 monthly searches for her wardrobe 
• Princess Diana is the second most influential in terms of fashion with 6,000 average monthly searches. 
• Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is the third most fashionable with the Queen coming fourth. 

New research has found that Brits search for Kate Middleton’s wardrobe more than any other Royal woman, making her the most fashionable woman in the Royal family. 

The study conducted by mobile casino comparison experts TopMobileCasino analysed Google search data to establish which Royal lady receives the highest number of searches with fashion related terms. 

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge was revealed as having the most influential style of any royal woman with 9,010 monthly searches for various aspects of her fashion. The term ‘Kate Middleton dresses’ has a total of 4,610 monthly searches.  

The late Princess Diana of Wales is the second most fashionable Royal woman, with 6,000 combined monthly searches for her style and outfits, 24 years after her passing. This breaks down to terms such as “Princess Diana fashion” receiving 1,900 monthly searches as well as ‘Princess Diana outfits’ having 1,300 monthly searches. The interest in Diana’s style will spike as a result of the new biopic, Spencer as well as upcoming seasons of Netflix hit The Crown. 

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex is the third most fashionable Royal woman. The combined number of monthly searches for Meghan’s style and outfits are 5,350. The term ‘Meghan Markle dress’ has 1,300 monthly searches and ‘Meghan Markle style’ has 1,000 monthly average searches in the UK. 

The Royal woman with the fourth most influential style is the Queen with 1,190 monthly searches for her outfits and dresses. More specifically, the term ‘The Queen’s outfits’ is searched 420 times a month.  

The least influential Royal woman when it comes to fashion is Camilla Parker Bowles with 40 monthly searches for various terms related to her style.  

Commenting on the findings, a spokesperson for TopMobileCasino said: “It is fascinating to see how influential each of the Royal women are in terms of fashion. Each member of the Royal family has a distinct style with the Queen having brightly coloured dresses and Kate’s signature long skirts however it is surprising to see whoss style resonates with the British public the most.  

“It is remarkable to see that Princess Diana is the second most fashionable Royal woman, despite her passing, highlighting the thought and care she put into every outfit she wore. As the Royal family gradually return to regular in-person engagements, it will be fascinating to see if this ranking changes.”
