We have heard many times, “Live your life to the fullest,” that is because we do not know what is waiting for us the next day. We understood the statement better when Covid-19 entered our lives, and since then, many have lived in threat, constant fear, and anxiety, fearing another disaster like that.

However, many nations set forward a powerful example as role models during the time of the crisis by providing their residents exceptional healthcare and opportunities despite the chaos.

Determining the most privileged countries required concrete data, and hence the ABCD agency decided to study 19 different factors specifically about each nation and score them accordingly.

These factors were broadly sectioned under four specific areas. They are:

Career opportunities – in terms of quality of the working environment, long-term unemployed, youth unemployment, population with tertiary education, social mobility, and GDP per capita.

Liberty and life satisfaction – This includes gender equality, human rights, general life satisfaction scale, and passport strength.

Health and safety – It includes road safety, homicides, life expectancy, air pollution, and social benefits to households.

Finances – and the population in terms of disposable income of households per capita, the median wealth of adults, and the number of millionaires.

The study conducted by ABCD in 2021 showcased countries like Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada, Norway, Iceland, Germany, etc., as the top contenders with a remarkable score in terms of career, education, life satisfaction and healthcare.

Though we are pretty well aware of these top contenders, let’s look at some of the surprising new additions, which proves that every country is trying to do its best to improve its world ranking in every sphere.

Four of the most remarkable new additions to the ranking list are –

Mexico: With a score of 25.48 in career opportunities, Mexico made a debut on the list.

Turkey: With an overall score of 6.52, Turkey has a far better individual score in health and safety while the rest of the scores are bare minimal.

Greece: The government doesn’t have employment opportunities; however, it has relatively high and good protection and health sectors.

Slovakia: Almost all the country’s factors are average, but the finances are meager, with a 10.36 score.

Whether upper ranked or lower ranked, each country tries to provide excellent facilities to its people, but in some way or the other, countries lag behind in any one or two influential and vital sectors. Every nation has its potential.
