Rangers kept up their unbeaten record in the West Wales Premier League by winning away to Cwm Wanderers in Ystradgynlais this afternoon (04/12/2021)

A brace of goals from Rangers Captain and centre forward Chrissy Allen in the 20th and 28th minutes of this game set up the victory.

A two goal margin at the half time break and Rangers were looking very comfortable indeed and fully deserving of their two goals cushion.

Two minutes into the second half saw Rangers add a third goal when forward Elliot Smith broke free in front of the Wanderers goal and picked his spot to slot the ball into the back of the net.

At three nil to Rangers the visitors could manage the game comfortably.
The playing conditions were tricky with the ball bobbling around on a soft pitch with the odd wintry shower thrown in amongst the sunny intervals.

Rangers did press forward looking for further goals but a spirited Wanderers team spurred on by Steffan Berrow kept their momentum going and didn’t give up the cause.

Wanderers did get a reward for their efforts three minutes from full time when forward Oliver Ranford hit a close range shot that
thumped against the inside of the Rangers near post and the ball crossed the line into the far corner of Rangers net.

It was all too late for the home side and it’s Rangers who return to the Mumbles with all three points!
