A new finding by online tax calculator Income Tax has analysed Google search data to reveal that online searches for the term “how many children does Boris Johnson have” has exploded 9900% in the UK on the 9th of December, just hours after the announcement of the birth of his baby girl this morning.
A spokesperson for Income Tax commented on the findings:
“After this morning’s announcement that Boris Johnson’s wife Carrie has given birth to a healthy baby girl, the public have had only one question in mind – exactly how many children does our Prime Minister have?
“Whilst the couple welcome their second child together, their first son Wilfred born in April last year, the exact number of children Boris has remained unknown. Although the Prime Minister has actively avoided this question in the past, it’s evident by the high volume of searches that the public are still interested to find out the answer!”
