Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for AJ following her Week 1 Dance exploded 456%, the biggest rise out of Strictly 2021’s finalists.

A new finding by PokerListings.com reveals that online searches for AJ Odudu were over four times higher following her Week 1 Dance to DJ Fresh’s ‘Golddust’. Fellow finalist Rose Ayling-Ellis saw searches rise 362% following her Week 8 silent dance, and John Whaite saw a 359% spike after his Week 3 ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ tribute.

A spokesperson for PokerListings.com commented on the findings:
“With the finalists giving it their all on Strictly week in week out, it’s clear from this data that there are some highlights to look back on for whoever wins this year’s competition.

With the announcement that AJ will no longer compete in the final due to a torn ligament, this data highlights the enormous impact the star has had during her time on the dancefloor with her week one dance being the most popular of the series.”
