Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for ā€˜How to cancel PLT orderā€™ exploded 2,967% in the UK on the 5th of January, after resurfaced interview clips of Molly-Mae Hague sparked controversy.

A new finding by casino comparison experts Casino Bee reveals that online searches for ā€˜How to cancel PLT orderā€™ skyrocketed to nearly thirty times the average volume.

The Creative Director of Pretty Little Thing, Molly-Mae Hague has come under fire from many viewers and fans for problematic comments she made on the podcast The Diary of a CEO, which is run by Dragon Denā€™s Steven Bartlett.

A spokesperson for Casino Bee commented on the findings:

ā€œSocial media influencers often find themselves at the centre of the ā€˜cancel cultureā€™ with so many people following their every move, and since becoming Creative Director at the fashion brand Pretty Little Thing, Molly-Mae has managed to avoid major controversy until now.

These findings show just how much of an impact Molly-Mae has and how it can affect brands she is linked to, with a single clip creating a massive increase in searches of how to cancel a PLT order. This is a prime example of this ā€˜cancel cultureā€™ and the repurcussions it can have for a brand or personality.ā€
