UK’s Most Googled Vegan Recipes REVEALED

Cheese, chocolate, pancakes and chilli are some of the UK’s most Googled vegan foods and recipes, according to latest research from Myvegan: https://www.myvegan.com/blog/lifestyle/the-uks-most-googled-vegan-recipes/ 

With Veganuary upon us and an average of 40,500 Google searches for ‘vegan recipes’ each month, more and more of us — from strict vegans to flexitarians — are keen to expand our plant-based palates wherever we can. Myvegan analysed Google data for over 100 common vegan meals, ingredients and alternatives to see which plant-based foods have got us the most excited. 

Vegan chocolate topped the list with an average of 33,100 Google searches per month, followed by vegan pancakes with 22,100 searches. 

Here are the top 10 most Googled vegan foods: 

  1. Vegan chocolate – 33,100 average monthly searches 
  1. Vegan pancakes – 22,200 average monthly searches 
  1. Vegan cheese – 18,100 average monthly searches 
  1. Vegan banana bread – 18,100 average monthly searches 
  1. Vegan brownies – 14,800 average monthly searches 
  1. Vegan chilli – 12,100 average monthly searches 
  1. Vegan Yorkshire pudding – 12,100 average monthly searches 
  1. Vegan chocolate cake – 12,100 average monthly searches 
  1. Cauliflower steak – 9,900 average monthly searches 
  1. Vegan birthday cake – 9,900 average monthly searches 

Searches for ‘vegan birthday cake’ were up 675% on the last 12 months, while ‘vegan mac and cheese’ was up 733% and ‘vegan quiche’ a whopping 3,800%.
