As the team at Hafan y Mor look forward to welcoming huge numbers of guests and owners in 2022, they are looking to recruit an additional 350 team members to come and join their team this summer. With three new pitch developments, exciting food & beverage outlets, and new activity they have roles across all areas of park from cleaning services to lifeguards with full, part time, seasonal and permanent vacancies available. Plus, as the first cohort of Haven’s Chef Academy start their training at Hafan, experience is not necessary for many of the roles as full training will be provided.

Denise Bossons, who has recently joined the park as its new General Manager is so enthusiastic about the opportunities available this season. “We have so many exciting things happening at Hafan y Mor this year and as such we need even more passionate and committed local people to help us provide our great Haven holiday experience.”

“If you’re passionate about helping people have great holidays and creating memories that last a lifetime then we would love to hear from you. There are so many different roles available, from working in our bars and restaurants, to lifeguards in our pools. We will provide full training and support and flexible hours to work around family life so it’s truly a great time to join our team.”

Whilst Hafan y Mor may be celebrating its 75th anniversary as a holiday destination, the ways of working are much more flexible than when the park first opened in 1947.

“The pandemic has really changed people’s perspective on a work/life balance and that’s one we are really embracing at Hafan,” said Denise. “You can work part time or full-time, you can have different jobs under the same contract, so if you want to work in our cleaning services team a couple of days a week and two days in the minimarket on other day’s we can support that. Your job, your way is crucial to helping you find that right balance.

At Hafan we feel strongly about being happy at work so as well as lots of support, why not encourage a friend to come and work with you too and consider job sharing! We also have a talent bus that will be driving around our local villages to collect people if transport is an issue; all part of our commitment to provide job opportunities for local people.”

Roles are available across a wide range of functions including food and beverage, from chefs’ roles to front of house; lifeguards; cleaning services; minimarket; maintenance; guest experience; bar and reception team roles.

With no age-related pay, and opportunities to earn even more with Haven’s training and shift leader rates, plus full training including externally recognised qualifications; discounts in food and beverage outlets; well-being support coupled with the rise in UK holidays set to continue, the need to help provide amazing holiday experiences has never been greater.
