New research reveals that Susan Boyle is officially more successful than Molly-Mae Hague, despite having the same 24-hours in the day.

From talent shows to dating shows, television today has the power to catapult your everyday Joe into a multi-million pound star.

A new study by the research team at SlotsUp has discovered who are the most successful reality stars to come out of UK TV, looking at a range of factors including net worth, social media earnings, YouTube searches and number of IMDb credits.

Despite keeping out of the limelight since appearing on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009,

Susan Boyle is officially the fourth most successful star to come out of UK reality TV, scoring 43/100 in the study.

Regardless of having the same 24-hours in the day as Creative Director of PLT, Molly-Mae Hague, SuBo is more successful, with Molly-Mae only landing in sixth place, with a score of 32.7/100.

Susan’s iconic BGT audition, which saw crowds on their feet following her rendition of Les Miserables’ I Dreamed A Dream, has reached a whopping 255.6M views and counting on YouTube, which is the highest number of YouTube searches from all the stars.

Susan doesn’t have too much of a presence on Instagram with only 66.1K followers, but she still manages to hold a net worth of over £30 million – almost seven times more than Molly-Mae’s calculated net worth of £4.5 million, thanks to her stunning vocals and Scottish charm.

Although Molly-Mae was pipped to the post by SuBo, the research confirms the Love Islander turned business mogul is the most successful Islander out of all seven series’.

Despite being just 22 years old, the blonde bombshell has accumulated a staggering amount of brand deals since leaving the villa, along with 6.2 million Instagram followers – gaining her a score of 32.7/100 in the study.

Shortly after the show ended, she was offered a lucrative collaboration with PrettyLittleThing worth £500,000 and is now creative director for the brand.

She has since launched her own fake tanning label, ‘Filter by Molly-Mae™’, along with partnering with big brands such as Starbucks and Beauty Works. Reports also show that a joint appearance with boyfriend Tommy Fury can earn them up to £10,000 per event.

However, X-Factor born and now WAG, Perrie Edwards, holds the top spot as the most successful reality star of all time, scoring 65.8/100 on the index.

Perrie, whose net worth is estimated at £5.9m and has estimated average social media post earnings of £26,9000 per post, beat out her former bandmate, Jesy Nelson, by 22 points, as she placed third on the index.
