The highly-anticipated second series of Bridgerton has sent searches for Regency fashion and home decor soaring – and the wedding industry is seeing the impact, too.

It’s a trend that wedding stationery favourites Tree of Hearts predicted at the start of the year, and they have already seen a 60 per cent increase in searches for Regency-inspired stationery.

“Regency period fascination is subtly finding its way into 2022 and 2023 weddings,” explained founder Lisa Forde.

“The second series has only just been released yet but there was so much anticipation in the lead up, it’s already inspiring our brides-to-be who are planning their weddings.”

The leading wedding stationery company is a one-stop shop for all things wedding stationery from Save the Dates through to Thank You Cards

“The biggest trend we’ve noticed so far is searches and orders for the beautiful Regency Blue colour,” Lisa added.

“The soft but striking pastel blue is a perfect wedding colour palette to base your big day around because you can be as subtle or as bold as you like.

“Whether you bring it in early for your Save the Dates and then again as table runners on the day, or make it a key part of the day with bridesmaids wearing Regency Blue dresses – it’s a great colour.”

With so many weddings planned for the next 12 months, Lisa added that couples are trying to stand out from the crowd wherever possible.

She said other trends to look out for this year include incorporating sustainability and nature and multi-sensory experiences.
