Analysis of Google search data reveals that online searches for ‘Elope’ skyrocketed 209% worldwide on the 5th April, just hours after TMZ revealed Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker tied the knot in Las Vegas, following the 64th annual Grammys.
A new finding by online casino experts at AskGamblers reveals that online interest for ‘Elope’ exploded almost three times more than the average search volume in the first few hours after the reveal of the pair’s secret wedding ceremony in Las Vegas.
The term ‘Elopement’ has also seen the highest number of searches in the past five years, increasing 85% due to the couple’s secret wedding.
A spokesperson for AskGamblers commented:
“The explode in searches for couples wanting to run-away and get married after Kourtney and Travis tied the knot secretly is undeniable.
