Three low alcoholic Easter drinks from recently launched Welsh drinks brand, Perthyn Low Alcohol Spirit – a great last minute Easter gift too

Launched in February this year, Perthyn low alcohol spirit is the brain child behind four Welsh Rugby icons, Shane Williams, James Hook, Lee Byrne and Mike Philips who have united through friendship to launch Perthyn Low Alcohol Spirit: The Spirit of Belonging. Pronounced “Pear-thin” it takes its name from the Welsh meaning of belonging. 

Distilled at Cardiff Distillery using locally and responsibly sourced botanicals wherever possible. The resulting liquid is a zesty 10% ABV low alcohol spirit with notes of citrus, cardamon and thyme. 
Perthyn Welsh 75 

35ml Perthyn Low Alcohol Spirit | 15ml lemon juice | 15 ml simple syrup | 75 ml non-alcoholic sparkling wine | garnish with lemon peel Method: Add Perthyn low alcohol spirit, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker with ice and shake. Double strain into a chilledflute. Top with a non alcoholic sparkling wine and garnish with a lemon peel ribbon.

Perthyn Lowgroni

35ml Perthyn Low Alcohol Spirit | 25ml Antica Formula Carpano Vermouth | 25 ml Campari | Garnish with orange peel 

Method: Add ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir for around 30 seconds and then strain into a fresh rocks glass over cubed ice or one large cube if available. Garnish with orange peel.

50ml Perthyn Low Alcohol Spirit | 200ml Mediterranean Tonic | Garnish with Pink Grapefruit and Rosemary
Method:  PerthynLow Alcohol Spirit and Mediterranean Tonic in a glass with ice and garnish with a  half slice of Grapefruit and a sprig of Rosemary
