xQcOW is the third most popular twitch streamer worldwide

New research has found that Ninja is the most popular streamer on Twitch.

Research conducted by online casino experts at CasinoScores assessed streamers and their major audiences, analysing data from Twitch Metrics and Social Blade, looking at three different factors: follower count, channel views and viewer hours.

The study revealed Ninja is the most popular Twitch streamer, with 17.5 million followers and 571 million channel views. Michigan-born streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Belvins has totalled 1.7 million viewer hours, despite this being the lowest amount of viewing hours in the rankings, he became the first streamer on the platform to surpass 3 million followers since the birth of his channel in August 2020. Ninja also partnered up with superstar Drake in 2018 when the pair broke the platform’s record for the most people watching an individual’s stream; the duo were later joined by Travis Scott and NFL player Juju Smith-Schuster.

Toronto born streaming account shroud is the second most popular streamer on Twitch, with 568 million channel views on the platform. Also known as Micheal Grzesiek, his account has the fourth-highest viewer hours on the list at 2.87 million. Shroud has an eye-watering amount of followers at ten million, which made his win of ‘Streamer of the Year 2022’ at the ‘Streamer Awards’ one of the most prestigious gaming ceremonies.

In third place is Laval born streamer xQcOW, also known as Félix Lengyel, who has the second-highest number of followers at 10.3 million. xQcOW has the highest viewer hours on the list at 20.7 million despite having the third-highest channel views at 518.7 million. The streaming star has spent the second-highest amount of time on live this month at 284 hours on Twitch and had the longest amount of viewer hours on the list at 20.7 million, securing his third-place spot.

Orange County’s Summit1g places fourth for the most popular Twitch streamers with 503.3 million channel views. Despite having the second-highest viewer hours in the rankings at 6.1 million, Jaryd Lazar has also spent the longest amount of time in the rankings on live this month at 344 hours. With the second-lowest follower count on the list at 6 million, Summit1g has made a lasting impression on the streaming platform.

In fifth place is Texas-born streamer Amouranth, also known as Kaitlyn Siragusa, who is the only female streamer in the rankings and has 395 million channel views. With 5.2 million followers on Twitch, Amouranth has the fourth-highest viewer hours and the third-longest amount of time spent on Live on the platform this month at 277 hours.
