Pina Colada crowned as the UK’s favourite cocktail

• In celebration of World Cocktail Day, VonHaus has conducted research to reveal the nation’s favourite cocktails
• Pina Colada came in number one as the UK’s favourite cocktail with over one in six (16%) voting it as their favourite.

Searches for ‘top 10 cocktail recipes’ have skyrocketed (+400) over the past seven days*. And with World Cocktail Day taking place on the 13^th May, VonHaus has conducted research to reveal the nation’s favourite cocktails.

From Pina Colada’s to Martini’s, VonHaus’ research shows the tipples at the top of the list in each city across the country.

The Nations favourite

VonHaus’ study revealed that the UK loves a Pina Colada with over one in six (16%) people voting it as their favourite. Closely following in second and third place were the Strawberry Daiquiri (15%) and Mojito (14%.)

When broken down by gender it was revealed that men favour a Long Island Iced Tea (11%) whilst the cocktail at the top of women’s list was the Pina Colada (22%).

• 120ml pineapple juice
• 60ml white rum
• 60ml coconut cream
• Handful of ice
• a cocktail shaker
