| This Sunday (5 June) is this year’s ‘Thank You Day’, part of the Platinum Jubilee, and we want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the communities we work in across Wales and south west England. At Wales & West Utilities, we look after the pipes that bring gas to homes and businesses, and we want to say thank you for your continued patience and understanding while we work in your area. We know that working in communities like yours is not ideal, but it really is essential: Our investment work is making sure we keep the gas flowing to homes and businesses in the area today, and to make sure the gas network is ready to transport green gas like hydrogen and biomethane, so we can all play our part in a green future. Remember: if you do smell gas, call us immediately on 0800 111 999. Before visiting, we’ll ask you to let us know if you or anyone in your household, is experiencing Coronavirus symptoms or self-isolating.
