As part of its efforts to take care of pilgrims attending this year’s Hajj. Saudi Ministry of Health provides a dialysis service for patients with kidney failure, Serving up to 1,000 patients 24 hrs a day. by a team of 57 doctors and 228 nurses, working on 251 units.
This year, the ministry added 10 mobile dialysis units, which are easy to transport to the patient’s location. It can also be used in ambulances and inside hospitals where central dialysis units are not available. Mobile units can also be transferred to pilgrims’ camps if needed.
