Broadband provider, Broadway Partners, has unveiled its kit sponsorship of Clarbeston Road AFC’s senior teams, in a move to support the local communities it serves.

The Club was awarded Wales Community Club of the Year under the FAW trust in 2020 and is entirely supported by a group of committed volunteers.

Given Broadway’s own pledge to drive inclusivity in rural communities, the company is proud to be partnering with a Club that mirrors its ethos. Clarbeston Road AFC provides sporting opportunities for disabled people in Wales, with its own Pan-Disability group, the Clarby Warriors, and became the first Pembrokeshire League football club to be awarded the insport Club Ribbon.

The kits were first revealed during Clarbeston Road AFC’s team charity match against Broad Haven on Monday 1st August, ahead of the upcoming 2022-23 football season.

Broadway Partners is currently rolling out ultrafast full fibre broadband to many communities in the area that have previously experienced slow internet speeds and unstable connections. In particular, Broadway is working on projects in the Spittal, Wiston, Ambleston, Slebech, New Moat and Llawhaden areas.

Reece Simmons, Wales Regional Manager, Broadway Partners, comments:

“As a full-fibre broadband provider working to establish better connectivity in Pembrokeshire, we are proud to be able to support Clarbeston Road AFC as part of our aim to develop relationships with local communities we serve in the county. We will continue to build on the progress made with rolling out our broadband services to residents and businesses in the club’s vicinity and the wider Pembrokeshire area, and we look forward to championing the Clarbeston Road AFC team in the months ahead.”
