Community group Sioe Llanbrynmair has donated over £900 to Diabetes Services in Bronglais Hospital.
The group held a tractor run back in 2021 in a bid to raise funds for Diabetes Services in Bronglais Hospital in memory of Eleri Evans.
Eleri served the village as show secretary for many years but sadly passed away at the Unit during lockdown. The event raised a total of £950.
Wendy Davies, Sioe Llanbrynmair Secretary, said: “This is an event that we try to run every year, although 2020 was missed! Each year we choose a different charity fund, usually in Bronglais.
“The tractor run was a great success with 24 tractors taking part: some vintage, some nearly brand new, something for everyone. The participants enjoy the day and have a good run out around the village with plenty of refreshments before the start and at the halfway lunch stop.”
Lona Phillips, Diabetes Specialist Nurse, said: “We are very grateful to Sioe Llanbrynmair for their kind donation to the Diabetes services at Bronglais. This money will help with buying new equipment and also educational material, which in turn will help us maintain a high quality service for our patients.
