Two Welsh companies have joined forces in an innovative partnership that will provide enhanced insurance services to the self-catered holiday accommodation sector.
Cleddau Insurance and West Wales Holiday Cottages announced today that the businesses have entered into a strategic partnership that will assist short-term holiday rental owners with their insurance needs.
Both businesses are experts in the holiday let marketplace, assisting customers with their marketing and insurance needs. Recognising the challenges brought about by the current economic environment, both services will help generate revenue for accommodation owners through the West Wales Holiday Cottages online marketing booking platform, whilst saving money on the insurance cover required on their properties through Cleddauās unique schemes.
Based on the Cardigan Coast, West Wales Holiday Cottages have been in business since 2005 , helping self-catered accommodation owners advertise their properties for online bookings. The business has grown substantially due to their excellent customer service and their unique platform which ensures ease of use for both holiday makers and accommodation owners.
Speaking about the partnership, West Wales Holiday Cottages Managing Director Lisa Stopher commented,
āWe have always taken pride in the quality of our properties and our outstanding service levels, and having a broker of Cleddauās standing in such close proximity to our short-term holiday rentals will be of great comfort to our owners. It will also undoubtedly lead to better cover and prices, adding yet further value to our offeringā.
Cleddau Insurance are specialists in the holiday let marketplace, with over 30 yearsā experience. Combining their expertise and access to unique insurance schemes, they will provide an essential service to West Wales Holiday Cottages clients, making sure they have tailored and competitive policies that cover all their requirements.
Commercial Director of Cleddau, Iestyn Page added,
āWe are delighted to be working with West Wales Holiday Cottages and look forward to providing the best possible service to their membersā.
āThe biggest concern we have currently in the insurance market is the number of businesses that are under insured across the UK. Our key message for holiday let owners is to make sure they have the sufficient cover in place for all potential risks. Insurance premiums have unsurprisingly been affected by the current economic climate, however with our access to specialist insurance providers we are confident we are still able to save new customers money whilst still providing second to none insuranceā.
āOur specialist team will go through individual needs in detail and scour the market for the right policy and priceā.
